Problem Statement

Investments as a product are very difficult to comprehend for a normal person. Usually, a user feels lost in an investment app due to overwhelming number of elements and the complexity of its own nature. So, I decided to tackle this issue by designing a platform where a user can track their portfolio performance, customize watchlist, monitor trading opportunities and history in one place.

Investments as a product are very difficult to comprehend for a normal person. Usually, a user feels lost in an investment app due to overwhelming number of elements and the complexity of its own nature. So, I decided to tackle this issue by designing a platform where a user can track their portfolio performance, customize watchlist, monitor trading opportunities and history in one place.

The Solution

I designed a web and mobile interfaces to streamline user's interaction with their investment portfolio. The user interviews showed majority of investors are going to use the mobile app, however there are still users who prefer to track their portofilo in "old-fashioned way" usign a web browser.

Investors just care about profit and loss so the overview page supposed to give them clear answers. It's a customizable dashboard where one can track what's happening with their portfolio and if any further action should be taken.
